Amazon has reached the milestone of 200 logistics hubs in operation across Brazil, now present in all 26 states and the Federal District. In just the past 18 months, 140 new hubs were launched. Working in partnership with small entrepreneurs and regional suppliers, Amazon offers same-day delivery in over 200 Brazilian cities and next-day delivery in another 3,600.

“We are accelerating our expansion in Brazil and investing in local partnerships. For this strategy to succeed, we combine our global expertise with the knowledge and energy of Brazilian partners, investing in technologies that enable us to build a logistics network that not only meets customer needs but also drives local economic and social development,” says Ricardo Pagani, head of Operations at Amazon Brazil.

Currently, the company generates more than 18,000 direct and indirect jobs in the country and supports over 100,000 small and medium-sized sellers through its marketplace, contributing to the creation of around 170,000 jobs.

Part of Amazon’s logistics growth is anchored in delivery programs such as Amazon Hub, which turns small businesses into pickup and drop-off points. The initiative, which started in cities like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Belo Horizonte, already includes more than 700 partners and is expected to reach an additional 1,900 locations in the coming months, including metropolitan regions of the Federal District and eight new states: Bahia, Ceará, Pernambuco, Paraíba, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Goiás, and Espírito Santo. With the expansion of the initiative, communities that previously waited up to five days for deliveries are now receiving packages in as little as two days—and in some cases, within 24 hours.

Another growing program is the Delivery Service Partner (DSP), which enables local entrepreneurs to build and operate their own Amazon package delivery businesses.

Amazon’s reach into underserved communities has also been strengthened through its partnership with Favela Llog, part of the Favela Holding group. This program, focused on areas with high logistical complexity, operates 16 delivery stations in favelas across São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Bahia. The goal is to ensure fast and secure deliveries in areas historically overlooked by traditional logistics networks.
